What’s the difference between FT80X and FT81X?

FT80X series (FT800 and FT801) support small size LCD displays like 2.8’’, 3.2’’ and 4.3’’, resolution up to 512*512 with 262K colors.

FT81X series is the second generation of touch display controller ICs with Embedded Video Engine (EVE), include FT810, FT811, FT812 and FT813. FT81X series provide increased resolution up to 800*600, with faster data transfer and image/video loading, and larger memory capacity in order to create better Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

What’s the difference between TN and IPS?

IPS (In-Plane Switching) type LCD displays has better viewing angle range and color reproduction than TN (Twisted Nematic) type.

We now have updated some sizes products from TN type to IPS type.

What is the difference between CTP and CTP-CLB?

CTP is a capacitive touch screen with a ratio of 1:1 to LCD display;
CTP-CLB is a capacitive touch panel that usually has bigger size than the matching LCD display. This shape and size can be customized according to customer's request.
